FAQ's

How much will it pump? - Using the high efficiency
FM910-3 turbine, at the average UK wind speed (5m/s) it will pump some 800 litres/day from 10m depth.

What happens when there is no wind? - We normally recommend pumping into a lagoon or storage tank, so that any unused water can be stored for less windy days. But in order to ensure a more continuous pumping capability we recommend using the optional 2 x 50watt Solar PV panels. These have no moving parts, can be mounted on the turbine mounting tower and provide continued pumping in low wind conditions.

Is it easy to install? - All component are designed to work together and are essentially 'plug & play'. No specialist knowledge is required only a basic toolkit.
